HIGHLAND COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC)- More search groups, including Texas EquuSearch, arrived Wednesday to help look for any sign of Madison Bell.
Volunteers are coming in from all over.
"Some of the volunteers that know me called me last night and asked if I could come out and help in any way. The girl that's missing is young and I have a young daughter also. I took it to heart and wanted to help. So, I took the day off and decided to come on up," Jeff Shari from Cincinnati said.
As more people show up, it offers a little comfort to Madison's mom, Melissa.
"I know how hard they're working. I know they're working non-stop, and I appreciate it so much. I'm just hoping that we don't have to continue and that she comes home," Melissa said.
Search crews are looking several miles away from this church parking lot where Madison’s car was found Sunday morning. The Highland County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation, but Ohio's Bureau of Criminal Investigations and the FBI are also assisting.
Highland County Sheriff says deputies have a vehicle of interest, a white sedan, that was seen in the area of the church Sunday morning.
BCI performed the forensic investigation on Maddie's car. Now, everyone is just hoping to find something that leads them to Maddie.
"I don't want anyone to forget about her and that they keep putting her face out there until they bring her home. That's what I worry about. Don't let her be another one that's forgotten," Melissa said.
Maddie's friends and family will gather together for a prayer vigil at Greenfield Church of Christ at 8 p.m. Wednesday. The vigil is open to anyone and will happen rain or shine. It will also be streamed live on the church's Facebook page.
