Driver hits two pedestrians in two locations on Vine Street

Police say charges are pending against a driver who hit pedestrians about 50 yards apart on Vine Street (WKRC)

CLIFTON, Ohio (WKRC) - Two people were struck by a vehicle on Vine Street Wednesday afternoon. Police were able to catch up with the driver.

The two people were on or by two different park benches on Vine Street near Woolper when the car hit one person at one bench and then hit the other about 50 yards away and dragged him a short distance.

One of the victims was taken to the hospital. No word on his condition. The other wasn't badly hurt but took himself to the hospital.

Cincinnati Police were already in the neighborhood for a separate investigation when the officers saw what happened. They caught the driver about a block away down a dead end street. Police say charges are pending against the driver Darius Crossty.
