CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A driver involved in a crash that left a 23-year-old woman dead in Sayler Park was arraigned on aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular assault charges on Sept. 28. Joseph Bahlman is accused of being drunk and driving 95 mph at the time.

Police say Elise Earley turned onto eastbound River Road from Thornton Avenue at about 11 p.m on July 27. Police say she failed to yield to oncoming traffic. Her car was hit by a car driving by Bahlman.

Earley was rushed to UC Medical Center but she died from her injuries. Her passenger, David Stewart, survived.

Bahlman's attorney said his client is dealing with a leg injury and still requires some medical attention. The attorney pleaded not guilty and asked for a low bond.

The judge set bond at $500,000.
