CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) -East Walnut Hills' newest bar offers cocktails that take a culinary approach to their creation and is now open in a European cafe-inspired setting.
Anjou, a craft cocktail bar that takes its name from Margaret of Anjou, the wife of British King Henry VI, opened June 15 at 2804 Woodburn Ave.
Anjou was opened by Chris Wolfe, Andy Smith and Brad Lauck, the former two of which knew each other from Dewey's Pizza.
Anjou's cocktail menu lists a lot of ingredients you don't typically associate with adult beverages. The Benedetto Alfieri alone, for instance, lists bell pepper, lemon, shallot and basil among its ingredients. Wolfe is currently working on a sweet potato cocktail for the fall menu.
