Evanston house fire causes $40K in damage

    EVANSTON, Ohio (WKRC) - A firefighter suffered an injury while battling a fire in Evanston early Tuesday.

    The blaze broke out around 2:30 a.m. in the attic of a two-story house on Evanston Avenue off Dana Avenue.

    Crews were able to extinguish the fire in 20 minutes.

    Everyone inside the house made it out safely.

    One firefighter received a minor injury that didn't require transport to a hospital.

    The fire caused an estimated $40,000.
