Frisch's Mainliner to reopen with a new museum

FAIRFAX, Ohio (WKRC) - The Frisch's Big Boy is getting his own museum at the original Cincinnati location in Fairfax.

Frisch's will unveil its renovated Mainliner restaurant and corporate museum in Fairfax to employees and retirees on Wednesday, April 11. The mayor of Fairfax will declare Wednesday Big Boy Day in Fairfax.

The museum named "A Tale of Frisch's Big Boy" will be free for patrons of the restaurant to visit

The Frisch's Mainliner will reopen to the public on April 12.

That's the 76th anniversary of the restaurant's dedication and opening in 1942.The Wooster Pike location was the start of Frisch's Big Boy restaurants and Cincinnati's first year-round drive-in eatery, according to the Frisch's website.
