CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Graeter's issued a warning that customers' credit card information may be compromised.

The company sent notices to 12,000 people who made purchases on its website between June and December 2018, asking them to keep a close eye on their accounts. There was unauthorized code added to the checkout page.

That led to patterns of unauthorized charges on cards after they were legitimately used on Graeter's site.

Purchases made at brick-and-mortar stores operate on an independent system and have not been impacted.
