HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) -- One of two suspects in the murder of a Lockland businessman pleaded guilty Thursday, May 14.
A judge then sentenced Christopher McFerron to 23 years to life in prison. James Rolman was murdered July 25, 2014. He was the owner of Hirschberg Steel Company and Recycling Center. Rolman was last seen making a cash withdrawal at the U.S. Bank in Lockland just before noon on the day of his death. Bank security cameras show McFerron getting into the car with Rolman.Rolman's body was found inside his car at a closed trucking company on Smalley Road. He was shot in the back of the head.McFerron pleaded guilty to aggravated murder and gun charges. Other charges against him were dropped.
Jason Brown also faces charges in Rolman's murder. He's scheduled to be back in court in July on charges of aggravated murder, murder, aggravated robbery and kidnapping.Follow us on Twitter @Local12 and LIKE us on Facebook for updates!
