Harrison father charged with injecting heroin with his toddler in the car
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A Harrison father appeared in court on charges he shot up heroin with his toddler daughter in the car. Police also say they had to use a Taser on Brenton Sturgill to get him under arrest.
Police say Sturgill was injecting heroin while in the parking lot of BP on Dry Fork Road on April 21 with his two-year-old daughter in the back.
When police arrived, they say Sturgill resisted arrest. That's when they used the Taser. Police say they found two hypodermic needles.
Assistant prosecutor David Wood said Sturgill was already out on bond for a previous drug arrest in March. Sturgill's attorney said his case was going through Veterans Court.
A judge ordered him locked up on $18,500 bond for the current arrest on charges of endangering children, resisting arrest, obstruction of official business and possession of drug paraphernalia and instruments.
