Hebron bank robbery suspect arrested in Kansas in a stolen truck
HEBRON, Ky. (WKRC) - The suspect in a Hebron bank robbery has been arrested in Kansas while allegedly driving a stolen truck. Sara Gothard, 40, faces charges of robbery and terroristic threatening for the Nov. 2 robbery.
The Boone County Sheriff's Office suspects Gothard robbed the BB&T bank on North Bend Road. They said she gave a teller a note and got away with cash.
The next day, a detective followed some leads on social media and got an arrest warrant for Gothard, who is from Cincinnati.
A Kansas Highway Patrol officer stopped Gothard on I-35 in El Dorado on Tuesday afternoon. He arrested Gothard for possession of the stolen truck and served the warrant for the bank robbery charges.
Gothard is in a Kansas jail until she's extradited to Boone County.
