High-speed pursuit ends in crash, sends sheriff's deputy, 1 other to hospital (WKRC)

BOND HILL, Ohio (WKRC) -A sheriff's deputy and one other person were sent to the hospital following a high-speed pursuit that ended in a multi-vehicle crash in Roselawn.

Police closed the intersection of Paddock Road and E. Seymour Avenue on Tuesday evening after the crash.

The pursuit is reportedly related to a drug investigation. The Ohio State Patrol is the only law agency involved in the pursuit according to Cincinnati Police Lt. Steve Saunders. A Hamilton County Sheriff's deputy was involved in the crash but was reportedly not involved in the pursuit.

A total of four vehicles were involved in the crash. A female driver and a sheriff's deputy were taken to the hospital as a result. There were no serious injuries reported.

The suspect involved in the high-speed pursuit was not injured in the crash and was apprehended. A large number of narcotics were recovered at the scene.
