COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - A fire broke out in Colerain Township on Sunday.
Firefighters were called to East Miami River Road at close to 1:30 a.m.
The currently unoccupied home is now considered a total loss.
The residence was unoccupied after the passing of the former homeowner, however the current owners maintained the house.
Fire suppression operations proved to be a challenge with the cold conditions and downed power lines.
The cause is under investigation at this time.
