SWITZERLAND COUNTY, Ind. (WKRC) - A woman was sentenced to 30 years in prison, three years after being charged in the death of her boyfriend.

Vivian Moore pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder in the 2018 death of Dennis Dziwulski. She was originally charged with murder.

His remains were found in the woods behind a mobile home he rented on Beatty Ridge Road in Switzerland County.

Moore's son, Justin Girdler, is also charged in the death.

The pair say Dziwulski was abusive. A landlord said deputies had been called three times in the previous years for domestic violence incidents.

Investigators say Dziwulki had been hit in the head with a hammer and an iron skillet.

Girdler first placed Dziwulski's body under the mobile home but then returned the next day and moved it to the woods, according to detectives.

Sheriff's detectives said they have surveillance video from a convenience store that shows Girdler driving Dziwulski's SUV the night of the murder. The vehicle was found abandoned the next day in Carroll County, Kentucky.
