CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Police and U.S. Marshals tracked a Lockland murder suspect to Mississippi and arrested him, nearly one year after the crime. Gerry Myles faces murder, felonious assault and a gun charge.
Police believe Myles shot and killed Ricky Julious on March 22, 2017 on Wyoming Avenue. He's also accused of shooting Tony Rembert but he survived.
According to police, Julious tried to run away after he was shot. They say Myles chased him down and shot him several more times. The shooting was caught by surveillance camera.
In April of 2017, Lockland Police reached out to Deborah Dixon for a $2,500 Wheel of Justice reward for Myles' arrest.
On March 16, a tip to CrimeStoppers said Myles was hiding at a relative's mobile home in Yazoo City, Mississippi. The Fugitive Apprehension Unit worked with the U.S. Marshals, who arrested Myles on March 19.
