CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Learning Through Art's new Cincy Reads! program was unveiled September 28 at the School for the Creative and Performing Arts.
The program is designed to bring the community together through creative and interactive literacy activities over a three day period. It's part of a partnership with Cincinnati Public Schools.
"It's our 25th anniversary for building community through art and we are utilizing our Books Alive for kids program where we make books come alive through sight, sound and touch to celebrate reading in our region," said Learning Through Art's Kathy Wade. "We're going to wrap our region for 3 days. We're going to wrap the region in reading to celebrate reading and making sure that we are empowering families to engage in reading and the success that it can bring."
