Man accused of firing gun in Sharonville hotel, nearly shooting child

Police say a 20-year-old man fired a gun in a Sharonville hotel and the bullet nearly hit a child in another room (HCSO)

SHARONVILLE, Ohio (WKRC) - Police say a 20-year-old man fired a gun in a Sharonville hotel and the bullet nearly hit a child in another room.

Police say Kevin Booker Jr. was inside the Quality Inn and Suites on Sharon Road when he pulled the trigger of a handgun Saturday.

Reportedly, the bullet traveled through two rooms where it almost hit a child.

Booker then fled the hotel on foot.

When police caught up to him, he had the handgun in his front pocket.

Booker is in Hamilton County Jail, being held on $10,000 bond.
