BLUE ASH, Ohio (WKRC) - A man is accused of threatening a dispatcher while pretending to be an FBI agent.

Police say Andre Carter walked into the Blue Ash municipal building on Halloween.

The receptionist said he told her he was a federal agent and asked how to get to the police station.

Once he got to the police station, he pulled out his wallet and told a dispatcher he was an FBI agent and wanted a background check, according to police. When she didn't believe him, she told officers that he threatened to harm her.

According to court papers, the dispatcher knew who Carter was and knew he had a violent history. She believed he would hurt her.

A judge ordered Carter held on $20,000 on charges of impersonating a law enforcement officer and menacing.
