PLEASANT RIDGE, Ohio (WKRC) - A suspect charged in connection with afatal shooting in Pleasant Ridge faced a judge on Sunday.
21-year-old Kareem Friemoth was arraigned Saturday on charges of robbery and murder.
The arrest was in connection to the death of 19-year-old Terrance Hammons.
He was killed at an apartment complex off of Montgomery Road near Pleasant Ridge Park on Jan. 19.
Investigators say Friemoth was with Hammons when they tried to rob someone.
The victim reportedly shot back, killing Hammons.
Even though Friemoth isn't accused of pulling the trigger, he can be charged with the fatal shooting of Hammons because he was allegedly part of the crime that led to Hammons'death.
Friemoth's lawyers argue that he wasn't even at the scene of the alleged robbery.
