CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A homeless man accused of punching a pregnant woman and trying to rape her is found competent to stand trial.

On Wednesday, a judge set a date for Anthony Smith's trial in January.

In June, police say Smith attacked the woman, who was nine-months pregnant. She was walking her dog along Riverside Drive in the East End.

Smith faces charges of assault and attempted rape.
