CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A 62-year-old man is accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of violins and bows from a Springfield Township music store. Cecil Shaw was arraigned Tuesday on burglary charges.

According to court papers, Shaw was caught on surveillance video at Baroque Violin Warehouse on North Bend Road on February 5. That video reportedly shows him putting two violins into his jacket before he runs out of the store. The two violins were worth a total of $9,000.

After reviewing surveillance video from other days, police say Shaw went into the warehouse a total of 17 times between February 5 and February 28. He's believed to have stolen $69,570 worth of violins and bows.

Shaw also had heroin on him at the time of his arrest, according to police. A judge ordered him held on $104,000 bond.
