Man charged with murder for fatal punch in Sedamsville

Logan Trice is charged with the murder of Richard Ray over a fatal punch in Sedamsville over the summer (WKRC)
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The man accused of killing another man with a punch back in summer, appeared in court. Logan Trice faces a murder charge.
The assistant prosecutor said Trice surprised Richard Ray with a punch to the face on June 30 on Fairbanks Avenue. Ray fell to the ground, striking his head on the concrete.
Ray was taken to UC Medical Center. He died two days later.
Trice's attorney doesn't believe his client murdered Ray. "There's no allegation of intent to kill here. It's a terrible tragedy from everything I can see."
The incident may have been recorded on video.
The assistant prosecutor didn't say anything about a possible motive. Shortly after Ray's death, his sister told Local 12 that it may have had something to do with drugs or he might have owed someone money. She said Ray suffered a work-related back injury that left him addicted to pain pills.
A judge ordered Trice held on $300,000 bond.
