Man killed in Ripley County hunting accident
HOLTON, Ind. (WKRC) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating after a man was shot and killed while hunting with his brother in Holton, Indiana.
The Ripley County Coroner pronounced Anthony Thompson of Columbus dead after arriving on the scene around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Thompson was 29-years-old.
Holton, his brother, and a kid were hunting from a ground blind when the incident occurred.
No foul play is suspected at this time.
An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 21 to determine the cause of death.
The investigation is still underway.
