LUDLOW, Ky. (WKRC) - A Ludlow man saved a little girl from a burning car and helped two others.

Wayne Keaton was making himself a cup of coffee when he said he looked out his window only to see a car on fire at about 5 a.m. He heard calls for help and immediately sprang into action.

As he approached the car, he saw a woman in the front seat who was holding one child. The two of them got out of the car but Keaton says the woman's leg was on fire. Even so, she was more concerned about another child who was in the burning car's back seat. "Kept messing with the seatbelt, she's locked down. I couldn't get her out, so I finally got ahold of the seatbelt a proper way and disconnected it and grabbed the little baby and got her out. and then I run up the sidewalk and grabbed her and pulled her pants off of her cause she was on fire and her pants were melting to her leg."

The woman, Heather Hall, was taken to the hospital. She was babysitting the children because their mother had to work at 4:30 a.m. The girls are with family. No word on Hall's condition.
