Man shot in back in North Fairmount drive-by shooting

NORTH FAIRMOUNT, Ohio (WKRC) - A man was rushed to the hospital after being shot in the back in a drive-by early Thursday in North Fairmount.

It happened just before 2 a.m. on Harrison Avenue near Baker Avenue.

Police say the 39-year-old victim was walking up Harrison Avenue to his apartment complex when a car rolled up beside him. That's when the suspect rolled down a window in the car and fired one shot before speeding off.

The victim was taken to UC Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are looking for a silver Chevy Tahoe.
