Mother of 8-year-old boy shot in Norwood says he is doing okay

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - An eight-year-old boy was reported to have been shot in Norwood.

Norwood Police confirmed that a child was shot on Hunter Avenue Saturday evening and that the child suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The mother of the boy told Local 12 on Sunday that her son was playing outside when the shots were fired.

Local 12 saw one person placed in handcuffs at the back of a police car but Norwood Police have not released any information about possible suspects.
