Kidnapped 6-year-old girl reunited with legal guardian after Amber Alert
SYMMES TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - A 6-year-old girl at the center of an Amber Alert was found safe Friday morning.
Malayah Sisco was taken by her mother, Ashley Hardy, on July 4 from her home on Mason Way in Symmes Township. Hardy is Sisco's biological mother, but she doesn't have custody of the girl.
Hardy turned herself into Cincinnati Police's District 4 Friday around 11 a.m. Police say Sisco is in good condition and was reunited with her legal guardian.
Hardy is being charged with abduction and a felony protection order violation.
Another woman, Celina Evans, was arrested for reportedly assisting in the abduction. The Chevrolet Traverse Hardy was driving was also located and impounded.
The investigation is ongoing.
