CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The Cincinnati Art Museum is making improvements to ensure that everyone has access to its exhibits and events.
A new ramp is being added to the front entrance.
The new ramp will allow visitors in wheelchairs to get inside the building more easily.
The ramp will also help those pushing strollers.
Work will begin next week and everything should be complete by the end of the summer.
The construction of the ramp is a part of an ongoing effort at the museum to be more accessible and inclusive.
Currently, the art museum offers sensory-friendly programs called "Autism Family Exploration and Custom Accessibility Tours" for groups that may not be able to attend regularly scheduled events.
