NKY doctor who ran pill mill convicted on 173 drug charges
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A Northern Kentucky doctor who ran a "pill mill" is likely going to prison for the rest of his life.
A federal jury convicted Sundiata el Amin of 173 charges on Tuesday.
A video shows the feds raiding his clinic in Dry Ridge back in 2011.
The feds say he dealt hundreds of thousands of oxycodone pills out of that office, often prescribing the opioid without ever examining the patients.
Each charge carries a possible 20-year prison sentence.
