EDGEWOOD, Ky. (WKRC) - A middle school student in Northern Kentucky has been charged after making threats on social media.

Turkeyfoot Middle School in Edgewood joined a growing list of schools that have been targeted by social media threats when a video on social media emerged Monday.

The school sent word to parents Monday night that the student responsible was charged with terroristic threatening and had been suspended.

Edgewood Police confirmed there will be extra police on campus Tuesday as a precaution.
