CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A North College Hill father accused of stabbing his own son appeared in court Monday morning. Herb Price faces charges of felonious assault, domestic violence and endangering children.
According to court papers, Price stabbed his six-year-old son with a large kitchen knife. North College Hill Police said the boy was seriously hurt but is expected to recover.
In court, Price's attorney said his client has significant mental health issues. The assistant prosecutor also said he has a history of violence.
Price agreed to sign a protection order and stay away from his son.
The judge set bond at $150,000.
