Northern Kentucky's Be Concerned opens for holidays

Food pantry also offers everyday items for adults and a toy store to provide Christmas for kids in need (WKRC)

COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) - A Covington food pantry does so much more around the holidays. Be Concerned has been making an impact in Northern Kentucky for 50 years.

The organization opens its Christmas store at 3:30 p.m. on December 5.

Adults can get much needed items like small appliances, sheets and blankets, and hats and gloves for everyone in the family.

For kids, there are brand new toys parents can pick up at the toy store. There are LEGO sets, games and stuffed animals. "It's great to help the adults, it makes you feel good, but there's just something really special that's almost hard to put into words, when you're helping to provide Christmas for kids. Every kid deserves to wake up to toys on Christmas," said Andy Brunsman.

Be Concerned can use donations of those everyday items for the adults and food for the pantry.
