BROMLEY, Ky. (WKRC) - A northern Kentucky mayor has resigned.

Bromley mayor Donnie Jobe sent his resignation via email. He's been in office since 2014.

Two Bromley council members confirmed to Local 12 that Jobe is being investigated by both the Kentucky State Police and Kenton County Police; though it's not clear why.

Search warrants were recently executed at the city building, and we do know some city records were confiscated last winter.

Local 12's Joe Webb also confirmed that Joe Schutzman, the city's building inspector of 26 years, resigned in August.
