CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A Norwood mother was arrested after her children were found locked inside their apartment, apparently alone. Nicole Jones, 29, faces two counts of child endangering.
A Children's Services caseworker arrived at Jones' Hunter Avenue apartment for an unannounced visit Wednesday.
She found the door padlocked from the outside, according to court papers.
She heard children inside and knocked on the door. The children asked who was there. She replied Children's Services and asked if their mother was home. She got no response, according to court documents.
The caseworker called police and a supervisor.
A judge allowed Jones to get out of jail without posting bond. She is not allowed to see her children unless Job and Family Services allows it.
