CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Companies that want a shot to work on the $3 billion Brent Spence Bridge Project get their chance.
Ohio and Kentucky are accepting proposals for construction and design of the companion bridge.
The request for proposals comes one month after the states secured $1.6 billion in federal grants for the project that's been talked about for around two decades.
Besides work on the bridge itself, the project also involves five miles on I-71/75 in northern Kentucky and one mile of I-75 in Ohio.
The proposals are being taken through March 31.
