COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKRC) - The Ohio Supreme Court will decide if a jury will ever hear conversations a local teen accused of killing her newborn baby had with doctors.

Brooke Skylar Richardson told a doctor she had no intention of having the baby. Richardson's attorneys say the statements are covered by doctor-patient privilege.

She is accused of killing her baby in May 2017 right after giving birth. Police searched her family's backyard in Carlisle in July after being contacted by a doctor.

An appeals court has previously ruled Richardson's statements can be used at trial.
