BOONE COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) - Police are investigating after two people were found shot at a truck stop in Boone County Tuesday. One of them died after deputies say he turned the gun on himself.

Investigators said a blue tractor-trailer pulled into the Flying J on Richwood Road at about 9:30 a.m. Not long after, a white truck pulled into the truck stop.

At some point, the driver of the blue truck got out, walked over to the white truck and the two drivers argued. Deputies say the driver of the white truck shot the other driver, then shot and killed himself. The injured driver can be seen running for cover.

The driver of the blue truck was shot in the arm. The sheriff's office identified him as Ronald Melvin, 44. Melvin was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay. He was up and walking around.

The driver who shot and killed himself has been identified as Jeffrey Maggard, 60.

It's not clear what led up to the argument.
