    One dead, two injured in Warren County crash (MGN)

    WARREN COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - One man is dead and two others are injured after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday morning.

    The crash happened on State Route 48 in Hamilton Township shortly before noon on Sunday when a preliminary investigation determined that Brian R. Young, 63, of Maineville, was operating a 2000 Ford F-150 southbound on S.R. 48 when it traveled left of center and struck a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 traveling northbound and being operated by 47-year-old Rodney T. Ferneding of Kings Mills.

    Young was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at Arrow Springs Hospital.

    Ferneding was wearing a seatbelt and was transported with non-life threatening injuries to Bethesda North Hospital.

    Bradley T. Zimpelman, a passenger in the Chevrolet, was transported to Arrow Springs Hospital then University of Cincinnati Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

    Alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be involved in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
