FORT WRIGHT, Ky. (WKRC) - A man killed on I-75 Friday after he exited his vehicle following a crash has been identified.

The Kenton County Police Department identified the man as 31-year-old Brian Wallace of Cincinnati.

Crews were called to southbound I-75 near Kyles Lane Friday morning around 6:45 a.m. for a traffic collision with injuries. Police found there was a two-vehicle collision prior involving Wallace and another vehicle. After that crash, Wallace exited his vehicle and began walking north along the interstate.

Police said, for reasons unknown, Wallace entered the travel lanes of the interstate and was then struck by a tractor trailer. He was then struck by a mini-van and became trapped unerneath. The mini-van was also struck by another car.

Wallace was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passengers in the mini-van, as well as the driver of the car, were uninjured.

The tractor trailer that struck Wallace left the scene, but authorities said it's possible the driver didn't know they struck Wallace.
