CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The next phase of the Wasson Way Bike Trail is underway.

A groundbreaking was held Saturday morning to kick off Phase 3. In 2019, Cincinnati received $6 million to extend Wasson Way east through Ault Park to connect to the Murray Path and west from Xavier University to Avondale.

When complete, Wasson Way will be part of the larger 34-mile urban trail loop around Cincinnati. It will connect uptown and the Little Miami Scenic Trail, as well as connect the Ohio River Trail from Lunken Airport to downtown.
