Police: Man and accomplice assault ex-girlfriend and 2 gay men in Covington home
COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) - The Kenton County Prosecutor might pursue hate crime charges against a man police say beat two men because they're gay.
Police say David Bruckman and another man broke into his ex-girlfriend's home in Covington recently.
Officers say they assaulted her and attacked the couple.
One of the men has a broken nose and both have broken eye sockets.
The woman had a protection order against Bruckman.
He had apparently warned her in the past to "not hang out with homosexuals."
