Police: Missing woman from Avondale found safe

Police are looking for a missing woman with a developmental disability in Woodlawn. (WKRC)

WOODLAWN, Ohio (WKRC) - Police say that a missing woman with a developmental disability from Avondale has been found safe.

Johanna Cross, 40, was last seen leaving her home in Woodlawn between 6:45 to 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday. She was found at the University of Cincinnati.

She was en route to the Goodwill located in Woodlawn where she is employed.

According to her employer, she never arrived.

She was wearing a purple velour jogging suit, blue coat with white fur around the hood and was carrying a small black bookbag style purse.

She has the mental capacity of a 12-year-old and is unable to take of herself due to her disability.
