CINCINNATI, Ohio (WKRC) - The principal of Union Pointe Academy in Florence had to cancel class for Tuesday and he did it in his typical fashion. Chad Caddell sang this most recent message to parents and students to the tune of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space".
Chad spoke to Local 12 live in Good Morning Cincinnati on January 16. He said he doesn't write these in advance, he's more of an under-the-gun creative person. He said his students had some input into his Taylor Swift message.
He said he wants to keep a "surprise and delight" kind of culture at his school to keep learning from being boring and predictable. "I think it's a sin to bore kids."
Chad said he was a music major in college and he has an appreciation for a bit of every type of music. He's currently listening to the "Greatest Showman" soundtrack, but you'd also find Mary J. Blige, Carrie Underwood and Joe Bonamassa on his iPod.
