CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The icy weather caused some issues for those living in the Prospect Hill area and Northside on Monday morning.
Local concrete contractors say working in these conditions can be tough.
"We were trying to figure out how to get down this hill, because it's a sheet of ice, and everywhere you look is a sheet of ice," said Jarret Stein.
Local 12 went to the Cincinnati Department of Public Services and asked why some side streets take longer to get to than others.
"What we do is our main arteries first, since we know those are most traveled, and we are into our residentials now. DPS started planning for this weather a few days ago, and currently has 55 crews working to get things cleaned up," said DPS superintendent Jarrod Bolden.
If you would like to alert these crews to a specific issue, you are urged to call (513) 591-6000 and visit the DPS website where you can actually track snow plows in your area.
