"Goat" begins filming in local neighborhood

FINNEYTOWN, Ohio (WKRC) -- The latest major movie production to film in the Tri-State began shooting Monday, May 4. Local 12 News caught up with the crew of "Goat" on Nieman Drive in Finneytown as they transformed a home into fraternity housing for the movie. Based on a memoir, "Goat" tells the story of a 19-year-old who joins a fraternity with his brother and the ritualistic hazing they go through. The movie's stars, including actor and musician Nick Jonas, drew several young onlookers hoping to catch a glimpse. "They're here all day so hopefully we get a picture with Nick. Or just a wave. A smile, a wink - an autograph," said Rosie Bellman of Finneytown."Goat" will be shot entirely in the Tri-State area. The production company "Killer Films" shot two movies here last year; "Carol" and "The Blunderer."
