Reimagined Court Street brings new entertainment district to downtown Cincinnati

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A new downtown entertainment district is about to take off: Court Street Plaza. Pilar, a 4EG bar, opened this weekend. It joined a revitalized plaza and a soon-to-be-open bar.

It's in an area 3CDC targeted for redevelopment. The newly remodeled corner is where Court Street meets Walnut Street, directly across from Kroger on the Rhine.

In 2019, the city of Cincinnati and 3CDC announced a reimagining of Court Street aimed at providing more space for pedestrians, restaurants, bars and activities. Construction on the revitalized section of downtown, known as the Court Street Plaza, was recently completed.
