Tractor-trailer fire shut down I-71 overnight

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A semi-truck trailer fire shut down northbound lanes of I-71 just before exit 9 early Wednesday morning.

Exit 9 leads to Red Bank Expressway. The truck caught fire at about 2 a.m.

Emergency crews were called to the scene. No word on injuries.

The highway has since reopened.
