ShotSpotter leads police to shooting victim in Avondale
AVONDALE, Ohio (WKRC) - Cincinnati Police say ShotSpotter technology helped them find a victim of a robbery and shooting in Avondale.
Police say they got the notification at about 1 a.m. on August 10.
They rushed out to Hale Avenue where they found a man and a woman in a car. The woman said they were robbery victims and the man had been shot three times. She wasn't hurt.
The victim was taken to the hospital. No word on a condition but police believe he'll survive.
