ERLANGER, Ky. (WKRC) - Pink ribbons are tied to trees and lampposts in a northern Kentucky neighborhood Saturday night.

They're just the perfect shade of pink for the little girl whose name is on them.

The Lakemont Community in Erlanger is rallying behind Brooklyn Smith.

Brooklyn is a little girl who's battling DIPG, which is the same cancer that Lauren Hill had.

On Saturday, her friends and neighbors hung 2,500 yards of pink ribbons in her honor.
