Spring Grove Village house fire causes over $150k in damages

SPRING GROVE VILLAGE, Ohio (WKRC) - Two people have lost their home after a fire caused heavy damage to it Sunday morning.

Emergency units were dispatched to the scene on North Edgewood Avenue near Winton Commons Park around 6 a.m.

Crews were able to extinguish the flames coming from the basement and first floor in about 30 minutes.

One family of two adults was displaced, and the cost of the damage is estimated at $155,000.

There were no working smoke detectors in the home at the time of the fire.

No one was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
