CINCINNATI (WKRC) - One of four men police believe forced their way into a Forest Park home, robbed and pistol-whipped a woman and then took her toddler, appeared in court Wednesday. A judge ordered Anquan Williams held on $250,000 bond on aggravated burglary and kidnapping charges.

Assistant prosecutor David Wood said Williams and the others repeatedly asked about money in the home before stealing $2,400 late Monday night.

As they left, Wood said Williams told the victim to have her boyfriend give him a call and he took her 15-month-old daughter. Two other children were also in the home at the time.

An officer spotted the white Ford Explorer that Williams and the other suspects were believed to be driving. They led police on a chase which ended in Springfield Township. Police say all four people got out and ran, leaving the toddler behind.

Officers only caught up with Williams. The toddler was safe in the SUV.

Green Township K9 Dino died during the search for the men. They believe it was a medical issue.

Wood said there was already an arrest warrant out on Williams for heroin trafficking and possession.
